Sunflowers I

Picture
26” x 31” August 2006 Fredericton
As things began to grow again in the spring of 2006, a profusion of sunflowers grew and blossomed in the water-deluged rubble. Machine quilted by Pfaff Grand Quilter mounted in an Inspira frame. Green fabric, representing new grass, is from the Poolhouse. Faded yellow fabric, representing sand and dirt, is from the beach. Sunflower fabrics were donated by sister guilds.  “Brick” and backing are new fabrics.
