Quilters of Gee’s Bend, Alabama created rustic beauty from fabric others would discard. This is inspired by their art, color and freedom. Machine pieced and quilted on Pfaff 2046. This quilt is made from bits and pieces left over from previous quilts that had been wetted by Katrina’s storm surge in the Poolhouse. Minimal to no measuring. But the quilt is out of square by only 0.5”.
