Small pieces of faded plaid - the first fabric found in the beach sand on 6 January 2006. Machine pieced and quilted with Pfaff Grand Quilter mounted in Inspira frame. All fabrics in this fractured landscape came from the beach and the poolhouse. The backing, and the seagull, representing life returning to the beach, are new fabric.
